Skincare and make up!

Hey Guys,
I just said I'd share my make-up routine with ye. I don't often wear make-up only on like special occasions, random days when i feel like doing it and going out. Not generally day to day or anything like that.

Here are the 3 stages of my make-up application:

1: Nothing on.
2. Foundation and contour done.
3. Everything done.

My Routine:

  • First I cleanse my face using the Garnier micellar cleansing water.
  • Then I apply my No7 moisturiser.

  • Then I usually apply concealer under my eyes because I hate to have bags under my eyes!

  • I apply my foundation Esteé Lauder double wear (pebble) and for this I use a real techniques brush. (I absolutely love real techniques brushes!!)

  • I use the sleek palette to contour then, once again using a real techniques brush.

  • I  don't use the highlighter in the sleek contour palette I find it too shiny! So I use the benefit high beem instead.

  • I then apply my bronzer to my neck and chest depending on what I'm wearing or where I'm going.

  • Rimmel stay matte is my absolute lifesaver I wouldn't go anywhere without it. I LOVE IT!!

  • Next I move onto my eyes where I apply the bare minerals shimmer eye shadow, and I used the colours in the Naked 3 palette shown below in the picture.

  • All of this followed by the NYX liquid liner, Mac captive lipstick and L'oréal mascara!

  • Then I use the Neutrogena Visibly Clear grapefruit face wash to take it all off and wash my face.

If ye have any questions about any of it feel free to ask :)

Fit, Fab and finally holding a new years resolution.

Hey Guys,

I'm sure ye have heard the saying 'new year, new you' by now. it is usually very popular around this time of year. Most people are probably sick to the death of it. Although those people probably still have a new years resolution. It could be to get up earlier, to tone up, to get fit, to do well in school/work or simply just to be happier. Whether its small or big I'm sure you want to keep it and I'm going to share a few tips to help.

1. Start Tomorrow.

If you really mean business you will start ASAP. No excuses just go ahead and do it. I know there is no perfect time to start there will always be complications but just tackle them as they come. You will be a lot more thankful this time next year if you just start.

2. Be Positive.

NEGATIVITY!!
There is NO point in putting yourself down and focusing on the bad things and what is going wrong. Positivity attracts positivity!!  If you are positive about things now more positive things will happen in the future.

3. Set Small Targets.

Targets really keep me focused when I am trying to achieve something. Set small targets and give them a date to be achieved by. You will find yourself more motivated trying to reach these targets and will feel a great sense of achievement once they are fulfilled. However, 'Rome wasn't built in a day', don't make your targets unrealistic and unachievable! Start off slow and build up to bigger targets once the smaller ones are achieved.

4. Essential Equipment.

No matter what you are trying to achieve without the right equipment it will prove difficult to do. For example, if you are trying to get fit, it would be necessary to have runners and a sports bra (especially if you are a woman). Also if you are trying to get up earlier it would be necessary to have an alarm clock or someone to call you. So whatever it is having the right equipment would make it easier to achieve the goal.

5. Meal Plan (Fitness Resolution)

When trying to lose weight or get fit and toned it is extremely important to have a meal plan in place or a set of healthy meals to chose from. it doesn't have to be very elaborate or complicated it can be very simple healthy meals. While trying to get fit everyone knows the exercise need to be done but what a lot of people don't know is that: Nutrition is key!!

Finally to bring all of these tips together...

6. Buy a Calendar or Diary!

This will allow you to track your progress. It will help you be more organised. It will allow you to easily plan ahead without 'ifs and buts' because you will either be free or not on the particular date. Motivational quotes always seem to help me. I found these two lovely items, a calendar and a diary on Amazon. They suit perfectly!
